Preparing our speeches

We have been very bust preparing our speeches. We have researched symbolism and Kiwiana, organised our ideas and research on a mind map, typed our speech onto a Google doc, recorded our speech and linked it onto our blog, and finally we are creating cue cards to help us present our speeches.

Spelling Bee

Today we held a Senior School Spelling Bee. It was lots of fun and the students proved to be amazing spellers.
Congratulations to all the students who took part. The top 5 spellers will be representing our school at the Inter school spelling Bee next week.

Minute to win it GoldenTime

Today for Goldentime some studnets organised "Minute To Win IT" games for the class. It was great fun and these students did a fantastic job of planning and running the challenges.

Jumbo cards

We are playing jumbo cards and we are not actually tiny it is just the cards are so big!! We can barely hold them in our hands.

Sausage sizzlers

On Friday Grace and Janine helped cook the sausages for lunch.  All the customers were very happy with their cooking skills.
